News: Nova Rock announce more bands!

Austrian festival Nova Rock has announced even more bands, as well as announcing Amon Amarth will be replacing In Flames in June. Names added in this run include Memphis  May Fire, the Graveltones, Huntress and Crowbar!

They will be joining the gargantuan line-up that already features Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, The Prodigy, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Label Society, Sepultura, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Megadeth, Dropkick Murphys, Soundgarden, Volbeat, Ghost and, of course, the incomparable David Hasselhoff

And that’s just a handful of them!  If you want tickets to one of the best weekend line-ups you’re likely to see (which, let’s face it, you do), go here!

Black Stone Cherry to take you to Magic Mountain!

black ston cherryAmerican rockers Black Stone Cherry have announced their fourth album! Magic Mountain, released via Roadrunner Records and produced by Joe Barresi, is due to drop on May 5th.

Talking of the album, the band say, “Not since before our first album have we felt the freedom and confidence that we felt while writing and recording this album.  After touring the world behind three previous albums that we are extremely proud of, we feel this album best captures the live energy, honesty and vibe that encompasses our true musicianship.”

The album release will be pre-faced by an intimate – and unsurprisingly sold out – UK tour. Dates as follows:

Fort Hope have announced that they have signed to LAB Records and are set to release their debut mini-album Courage in May. If that’s not enough to get excited about they’ve also just released their first tour dates of the year ( with Max Raptor) which will see them hit the following venues:

Surrey quintet You Me at Six have announced that their second single from upcoming album Cavalier Youth  (released 27 January) is none other than Fresh Start Fever due for release on 20 January. To coincide with the album release the boys are embarking on a mini UK tour of live sessions and signings over the coming weeks:
